*UPDATE*
We're gearing up for in-person meetings again! September 25th from 6:30PM to 7:30PM, we're having ourselves a little "Welcome Back" pizza party! We'll also resume our normal Friday meetings the following week. While there are a lot of new guidelines and safety procedures to follow, we want to assure you we have been taking the time make this as safe a space for you as possible. With all of these new safety procedures, there are some new forms we need you to fill out for us as well. All of the new forms are available on the respective ministry pages (EDGE/Middle School) and (LifeTeen/High School). I will be sending out more information via Flocknote, so please be sure to send me your contact information if I don't already have it. We're so excited to see everybody again, so be sure to come out and say hi to everyone!
Religious Education does not end when a young person receives the sacrament of Confirmation. In fact, religious education is a life-long process. We invite and encourage young people to join with their peers in this continuing journey. Youth Ministry helps to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young adult. Youth Ministry also seeks to draw young people to responsible participation in the faith community.
It is our mission at St. Matthew’s Youth Group to give the youth of our parish an active role in the church. By being open to new people, ideas, and giving back to the community, we enhance the goodness of the human heart. We strive to set an example for tomorrow’s youth while having fun experiencing God’s blessings in different ways.
